The Completed Version

So I really enjoy textured paper and patterns.  Although I do not always find it fun to make the patterns myself.  Some people enjoy it, I get that.  I am not that person. So my way around such intricateness is to scan what scrapbook paper I have and change the pattern ever so slightly to make it my own (don't want to infringe on copyrights).

And Voila!  You have your very own textured/patterned background of which to put silly little drawings and things on.  I will say the swirly designs and text in this piece are of my very own making.

On another note, I am working on redesigning my resume/cover letter/portfolio style.  I happened upon a magazine that had top ten resume's in it.  People are ingenious.  And while your work does speak for itself, an interesting but not overdone resume and portfolio can help you stand out from the crowd.  So don't be lazy and just print onto white paper and slide them into a white $3.99 "presentation Book" you got from Wal*Mart (Neesha).

Your last sentence made me laugh so much! Gotta stand out from the crowd, right?
